The Outset partnered with Barrel to launch their new direct-to-consumer Shopify Plus website, with the goal of delivering a best-in-class e-commerce experience from day one. At launch, the team prioritized key features such as subscriptions, product bundling, and rich storytelling to effectively communicate the brand’s unique ingredients and value propositions—laying a strong foundation for long-term growth and customer engagement.

We took a modular approach to designing The Outset’s website, enabling the brand to scale seamlessly as it experienced rapid growth. By creating flexible landing page templates and a robust system of interchangeable modules, designed to highlight storytelling, value propositions, and the brand mission—the Outset team could easily mix and match components for new product launches and long-term promotions, ensuring adaptability without compromising design consistency.
