With Daniel Arsham as ComplexCon 2025's artist director, Hong Kong hosted Asia's division of ComplexCon for the second time in March of 2025. Working closely with Complex Chinese and Daniel Arsham's team, we were able to direct and produce a unique visual approach to market the event.
Designed at Complex (Complex Chinese) as Senior Digital & Brand Designer
To clearly communicate ComplexCon Hong Kong’s ticketing tiers, we used color as a key visual differentiator, applying it consistently across all platforms, including Instagram, Rednote, and the website.
Displayed both at the event and on the website, the convention map was a key feature of the marketplace venue, highlighting all participating vendors across merchandise, food, panels, and more.
As a global event, it was essential to create all communications and assets in three languages, English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese, to ensure accessibility and inclusivity for all attendees.
In addition to the three-day convention, special invitations were sent to key attendees for exclusive events, including the opening ceremony, a friends & family gathering, and the official after-party.
To help promote the event, I designed out-of-home displays featured at Hysan Place in Hong Kong, showcasing the event’s headliners to drive excitement and awareness.
As a special event during the convention, a League of Legends competition invited attendees to play and watch matches against popular LoL streamers. I designed the promotional logo and social assets to support and elevate the event’s visibility.
